Jazz@Central, with my nephew 樂樂!

A week of in-camp training, time really pass fast! But it was a good 1 week, caught up with my fellow camp mates, joked and whined about work life, fellow camp mates... etc.

Went dinner with the family (minus dad and sis - dad had his 中元理事dinner gathering, whereas my dear sis is thousands of miles away, in another side of the globe, mugging in her books, studying for her Masters..). Below are the excerpts...

Bob (sis's hubby) suggested Jap food at Central in town. "Not a bad idea, but ma leh? She wan or not?" I asked.

"Can, can... 我隨便...", mum replied. "Ok lor, onz... err... 誰請huh?" I asked... long silence....

"Bob 下禮拜birthday leh..." Mum said. "Ok lor, 我做莊lor... 今晚過來" I said.

We end up having Billy Bombers there, cos all the Jap restaurants packed with diners... but it's quite ok, cos dinner was good, we had ribs, lamb chops, chicken, fish and chips.... wah, meat galore man!

Then after dinner, went jalan jalan a little by the river... very nice ambience... then caught a short performance by 3 musicians, playing jazz using cello, guitar and sax... lovely! Bob and lele danced to the music, the little one was initially tired and grouchy... but was mesmerized by the tune and went quiet.. hahaha... worked like a charm!
